What we do
CHS runs several programs to support vulnerable children and youths:
Education Sponsorship Program (ESP): Provides school fees, materials, and skill training (e.g., tailoring, motorbike mechanics) for 45 primary school children and youths to secure their future.
Healthcare Support: Covers medical costs, medications, and minor surgeries for vulnerable youths, and promotes menstrual hygiene by providing sanitary pads and education.
Sensitization and Education: Raises community awareness on child welfare through radio, church sessions, and welfare clinics, with strong community backing.
Counseling & Trauma Healing: Offers regular counseling and trauma healing for youths and parents affected by the crisis in Cameroon’s Northwest and Southwest regions, supporting their emotional and psychological recovery.
